Zimbabwe (Dzimba dzamabwe)
Dzimba dzamabwe means house of stones.
Zimbabwe is a country in the southern part of Africa, and it is a landlocked country; neighboring with Zambia to the north, South Africa to the south, Mozambique to the east and Botswana to the west.
Harare is the Capital City and the largest City.
Zimbabwe has eight provinces and two cities with provincial status.
Harare and Bulawayo are the two cities with provincial status; and the provinces are as follows:
Manicaland
Mashonaland Central
Mashonaland East
Mashonaland West
Masvingo
Matabeleland North
Matabeleland South
Midlands.
The provinces are subdivided into 59 districts and 1200 wards referred to as Municipalities.

Zimbabwe’s staple food is sadza. Sadza is prepared with mealie meal also known as cornmeal.
Zimbabwe has two principal indegineous languages which are Shona and Ndebele.
English is main language used in educational and judiciary systems.
Shona is spoken by 70% and Ndebele 20% and the other 10% by other minority languages of the population.
